Classical V-belts

• Excellent low-cost, quiet, and efficient means of transmitting power
• Most widely used v-belts are A, B, C, and D classical belts
• Can handle fractional to 500-hp drives, usually at lower costs
• Universal classical profile, multiple ply, static conductive, and multiple plies

Banded Belts

• Banded belts prevent rollover and reduce vibration tendencies
• Applications include: de-barkers, chippers, trimmers, and deck saws
• Reduces belt whip caused by combustion engines or reciprocating pumps
• Considerable degree of design flexibility

Synchronous Belts

• Versatile with applications on drives up to 600 hp and 6,000 ft per minute
• Minimal elongation, no metal to metal contact, and no constant lubrication
• Adaptable to any power transmission drive (printers to milling machines)
• Designed to eliminate excessive heat build up

Specialty V-belts

• Excellent transverse rigidity and exceptional flexibility to prevent buckling
• For use when sheave drives require exact speed control and maximum range or speed
• Common applications include: exercise equipment, power equipment, machine tools

Automotive belts

• Designed for passenger cars, and light and heavy duty trucks
• Premium rubber-impregnated fabrics resist oil, heat, and water
• Unique helical cog design runs quieter than standard cogged belts
• Rubber edges maintain positive, no-slip contact with pulley grooves
